Deonta Mozell, Men's Basketball

Forsyth Tech Men’s Basketball has officially added elite scoring depth to its roster with the signing of transfer guard Deonta Mozell.

A 5'10" standout from Bristol, VA, Mozell transfers in from Region 10 competitor Southwest Virginia Community College. During his freshman campaign, Mozell established himself as one of the premier offensive threats in the conference, finishing 4th in Region 10 in scoring (18.7 PPG) and 2nd in three-point accuracy (44.8%).

With Southwest Virginia set to close its athletics department at the end of the academic year, Mozell brings his high-caliber shooting and veteran conference experience to the Trailblazers.

"He is a high-character young man from a great family who knows exactly what it takes to produce at this level. Adding a top-tier shooter who was incredibly efficient, while also being at the top of opposing scouting reports, speaks about his ability to produce. Deonta will allow us to stretch the floor and gives us another proven playmaker in the backcourt."
