Lacey Freedle, Volleyball
The Forsyth Tech Women’s Volleyball program is excited to announce the addition of Lacey Freedle to the roster for the upcoming 2026 season.
Freedle, a versatile standout from North Davidson High School, joins the Trailblazers as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. Known for her gritty defense, sharp court awareness, and competitive drive with Triad United Volleyball Academy (TUVA), her dual-role skill set is a perfect fit for Forsyth Tech following the program's impressive 15-8 inaugural season last year.
Head Coach Sarah Weavil is thrilled to welcome the local talent to the squad as they look to build on that year-one momentum.
"Lacey brings phenomenal versatility, a high volleyball IQ, and a relentless work ethic to our court," said Coach Weavil. "She knows what it means to be a selfless teammate and is exactly the type of student-athlete who will help us continue to raise the standard for Trailblazer volleyball."
Year two of Trailblazer athletics begins this fall with the volleyball schedule set to be released soon.
