Presley Barker, Volleyball
Forsyth Tech women’s volleyball continues to build a talented 2026 roster, officially announcing the signing of standout setter Presley Barker from West Stokes High School.
Barker, a premier playmaker from nearby King, North Carolina, arrives as the all-time assist leader in West Stokes history. Her elite court vision and leadership earned her All-Conference and All-County honors for three seasons, alongside All-Region and All-State selections. At 5'7", Barker’s athleticism and court awareness allow her to thrive running the offense on the volleyball hardwood.
Head Coach Sarah Weavil, entering her second year at the helm, expressed immense excitement about what the decorated setter brings to the squad.
"We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Presley to the Trailblazers family," Coach Weavil said. "As a setter, you need someone who can command the floor, read the defense instantly, and serve as an extension of the coaching staff on the court. Presley possesses all of those qualities. Her work ethic, competitive drive, and high athletic IQ are exactly what we look for when building our culture here at Forsyth Tech."
Barker joins a highly anticipated recruiting class focused on elevating Forsyth Tech within the NJCAA Division II ranks. With her ability to steady the passing game and create high-percentage opportunities for her hitters, Barker is expected to make a big impact for the Trailblazerst this fall.
