Trailblazers Make Their Mark: New Athletics Fence Wrap Builds Brand Awareness
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A new, large-scale fence wrap is making a bold statement on Forsyth Tech's West Campus. Located at the highly visible corner of Bolton Street and the Silas Creek Parkway on/off ramp, the vibrant display promotes the college's new athletics program and its student-athletes.
With the launch of Forsyth Tech Athletics in 2025, establishing the new brand and building community awareness was a top priority.
"The fence provided a prime opportunity...to showcase our new brand, highlight our student-athletes, and let the surrounding community know that the Trailblazers are here and blazing trails!" said Jenny Terry, Senior Brand and Creative Strategist at Forsyth Tech.
The wrap was designed internally by Terry, but its creation was a full Trailblazer collaboration. Terry partnered with two Forsyth Tech alumni to bring the vision to life: Shaun Edwards of Phantom Graphics and Lee Smith of Titan Graphics. Smith is also a former Forsyth Tech Graphic Arts Program Coordinator.
According to Terry, both alumni were eager to give back by supporting the new athletics program and generously produced the banner at cost.
"The project was a fun collaboration that felt like a class reunion!" Terry added.
The wrap is now on full display, introducing Winston-Salem to the new face of Forsyth Tech Athletics.
