Forsyth Tech Dominates Carolina University DT in 102-65 Home Win

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Forsyth Tech (20-4) showcased its full arsenal Monday night at West Campus, delivering a commanding 102-65 non-conference victory over Carolina University DT behind explosive offense, suffocating defense and major bench production.
Forsyth Tech set the tone early, racing out to a fast start with crisp ball movement and relentless defensive energy. By halftime, the Trailblazers had built a comfortable 45-27 lead, fueled by transition baskets and a deep rotation that overwhelmed the visitors. In the second half, Forsyth Tech never let up, outscoring Carolina University DT 57-38 to close out an emphatic win.
The Trailblazers' offense was firing on all cylinders, connecting on nearly 60 percent of their shots (47-for-79) and assisting on 34 of 47 made field goals. The team's defensive intensity led to 15 steals and countless fast-break opportunities, turning Carolina University DT mistakes into points on the other end.
Jayden Ross powered the Trailblazers with 14 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, coming just two assists shy of a triple-double. Off the bench, Jayden McCrae led all scorers with 18 points on an efficient 8-for-11 shooting, while adding three rebounds, one assist, two blocks and a steal. Justin Geter delivered 13 points, three assists and a remarkable seven steals, igniting the defense and sparking transition play. Taky Prosper added 12 points on 6-for-8 shooting as a starter, and Jasean Williams chipped in 10 points, four rebounds and two blocks off the bench.
Forsyth Tech's depth was on display with bench players combining for 41 points. The team's defensive wall forced turnovers and limited Carolina University DT to just 65 points, underscoring the Trailblazers' ability to dominate both ends of the floor.
