Forsyth Tech Men's Basketball Dominates Southwest Virginia in 93-65 Road Win

CEDAR BLUFF, VA – Forsyth Tech Men's Basketball (20-4) delivered a commanding NJCAA Region 10 win on Wednesday, overpowering Southwest Virginia 93-65 on the road to extend their season record to 22-5.
The Trailblazers set the tone early with relentless energy, building a double-digit lead in the opening minutes behind stout defense and efficient offense. Forsyth Tech controlled the glass and forced turnovers, turning stops into transition opportunities and dictating the game's pace. By halftime, the Trailblazers had established a significant advantage and never looked back, keeping the host team chasing throughout the second half.
Offensively, Forsyth Tech showcased their firepower with 48.1 percent shooting from the field and 22 assists on 39 made baskets. The team dominated the rebounding battle with 56 boards and held Southwest Virginia to just 65 points, a testament to the Trailblazers' commitment on both ends.
Jayden Ross led the way with a double-double, recording 17 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 6-for-14 from the floor and a perfect 5-for-5 at the free-throw line. Kyri Wilson filled the stat sheet with 15 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds and 2 steals without committing a turnover. Jasean Williams provided 12 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks, while Justin Geter came off the bench to deliver 13 points on 5-for-7 shooting. Ian Bush contributed 11 points and 8 rebounds, helping anchor the interior presence. In all, five Trailblazers scored in double figures and nine players tallied at least one assist or rebound.
