Forsyth Tech Dominates Guilford Tech on the Road for Conference Win

JAMESTOWN, N.C. – Forsyth Tech (24-5) delivered a statement win on Monday night, taking down Guilford Technical Community College 88-76 at Ragsdale YMCA to improve to 18-3 in NJCAA Region 10 play.
From the opening tip, Forsyth Tech controlled the tempo and set the tone with crisp ball movement and relentless defense. The Trailblazers built a double-digit lead early in the first half and carried a commanding 46-33 advantage into halftime. The offense continued to surge after the break, as Forsyth Tech maintained its pace and never let Guilford Tech seriously threaten the lead. A season-high 25 assists on 35 made field goals showcased the team's unselfish play and execution, while the bench stepped up with major contributions to keep the energy high throughout the game.
Joel Deigna led a balanced attack, finishing with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks on an efficient 6-for-10 shooting, including 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. Jayden Ross added 12 points and matched Deigna with 9 rebounds, while Darnerian Gibson chipped in 13 points, 3 steals and hit three triples. Off the bench, Jasean Williams poured in 10 points on 5-for-10 shooting, and Kyri Wilson facilitated the offense with a game-high 8 assists to go with 5 points and 4 rebounds. The defensive effort was just as impressive, with Gibson and Williams combining for 5 steals to disrupt the Titans' rhythm.
